New Feature: Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server networking with Azure Private Link
Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server users can now benefit from secure private network access with the availability of Azure Private Link based networking. This allows for the creation of private endpoints for the database service within a virtual network, ensuring flexibility, easy connectivity to other Azure services, high security, and isolation. By utilizing Private Link, traffic between the virtual network and the service travels through the Microsoft backbone network, eliminating the need to expose the service to the public internet. This feature is available in all public Azure regions where the service is offered, and complements existing networking capabilities like VNET injection.
